Please read the below-mentioned terms and conditions carefully compounding an essential part of the Traveller Agreement for the events directed by Devadars. All events advertised on our websites are operated by Devadars Travel and are sold subject to the following conditions:
The company does not provide travel insurance along with their travel packages; only for the treks with an extreme level of difficulty has incorporated travel insurance along with. The same case is applicable for all international individuals as well.
For booking, you can always pay via our website www.devadars.com after selecting the appropriate package. In case, if you want to pay directly in the Devadars bank account; kindly make a booking via email. The individual making the booking must be 18 years old or over and must possess the legal capacity and authority to make the booking.
In case, if the booking for an individual or group of individuals is made by an acquaintance on their behalf then they must accept the Terms and Conditions before the trek or tour commences.
All international (Non-Indian) participants are also required to pay for any non–transferable and non-refundable items such as National Park entrance fees and Permits as per the requirements of the particular Park/permits applicable for all international (Non-Indian) participants.
Once you accept the company norms, the company will send a confirmation invoice to your registered email address. It is highly advisable to go through the confirmation invoice deliberately and inform the company of any transitions to avoid any deductions. The sooner, the better.
Names and identity proof provided by you must be legally valid and needs to be self-attested. Along with your ID, a Disclaimer & medical certificate, 1 latest passport-size photograph also needs to be submitted to complete the verification process. Medical & Disclaimer certificate is available on our website.
Travel documents/itinerary will be sent or emailed to you well in time before the departure of your tour, but will not be issued unless payment of the due balance has been received and any pending cheques have been cleared.
Your safety is eminent to us and therefore it is crucial that you inform us in writing, at the time of booking, of any condition (medical or otherwise) that needs any special care/attention and that might affect your or other people’s experience during the event. You agree to provide any/all information that may be asked by government authorities/border control/security agencies for security and counter-terrorism. This is known as Advance Passenger Information. The information you must provide will include, but not be limited to, full name – as shown in your passport or travel document, gender, age, nationality, travel document type, and number. For Indian nationals, this information may be provided only for the person making the booking (lead booking participant) but for Non-Indian nationals, the same might be asked from all participants.
If booking amount is paid in Installments
In case of bookings made by paying half amount, you are expected to make the balance payment at least 20 days before the departure date (w.r.t. to the published itinerary of the event & batch booked). In case the balance payment is not made at least 15 days before the departure date, then the booking would be marked as cancelled and Devadars Travels will not be liable for a refund. However, you can request for a voucher refund and the same would be treated as per the cancellation policy.
Prices (for all treks/tours) are updated periodically on our website and the and only the company owns the right to alter the rates. Offers & promotions are often seen running time to time and the company preserves all rights to introduce or withdraw any offer or promotion at any given time without any prior intimation. However, the bookings which are already processed will not be affected.
If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be refunded to the original mode of payment. View our cancellation policy here.
If cancellations are made in the last 15 days in respect with the tour start date, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, Devadars will provide you with a full amount Voucher, which can be avail on any Devadars Trek. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
To replace the booking with some other person
In case if you wish to replace your booking with some other individual. You must surpass this information 15 days before to firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of the replaced individual i.e., Name, Contact, Email, Address, 1 Passport-size photograph, Medical & Disclaimer Certificate.
All our payment has to be made online via PayPal, UPI, or direct bank transfer. In case of cancellation, the refund will be processed within 15 days – concerning the cancellation policy rules.
In case the tour has been cancelled by Devadars Travel, the full amount refund will be provided to you as a Voucher, which you can avail on any of the Devadars Treks.
Other associated costs
There is a 5% GST associated with all the Devadars Treks/Tours which will be added automatically while making the payment and hence the GST is non-negotiable for all.
Other than that porter costs and transportation costs from pickup point to the trek start location are mentioned in every trek. There is no scope of ambiguity there.
Devadars are not liable to make any refund in such a situation. The participant has to bear the returning cost from the mid-way as such unforeseen circumstances are not part of the packages.
With all the Devadars Treks, there is one local & one professional guide available, along with the helper. Under the situation of an emergency evacuation, the immediate first-aid kit will be sufficed to the injured.
If the weather turns disastrous, we will ensure your safe return. All the participants must listen and accept any guideline or decision initiated by the Trek Guides.
Laws and customs of the areas vary drastically as per the region. Be careful to not to hurt any religious sentiments of the locals. It is your responsibility to socialize yourself with the locals and respect their local laws and customs, language, whatsoever. We also dare to keep the mountains clean. No use of plastic and litter throwing is a part of our Environment Policy.
We are committed to not disclose your information unnecessarily. Only in case of vendor allotment and booking purpose, your records as submitted to us will be shared.
During the expedition, all that has been captured any video/photographs or reviews, we may publish it on our website. If you want to keep your travel a private affair, we would like to have this information prior.
In case if you have some special request or itinerary modification, it is advisable to raise the concern before the trip kick-starts. We will consider your special requests and serve you accordingly. In case, if we are unable to fulfil any specific demands, our support team inform you without any delay.
If the request made is not a part of the package, then it will be charged extra. It is advisable to go look at the inclusions/exclusions section of the trek/tour carefully.
All participants have to keep in mind the difficulty level of the trek before finalizing it. It is of prime importance to have good physical fitness maintained to join treks of level moderate and above.
The mountains lack good hospitals, hence, any medical condition can be very dangerous.
In case of any dispute or difference of opinion arises between the parties, we urge all the participants to resolve it cordially. Use of abusive language or fighting can take you the legal proceedings to resolve the matter.
