Brahmatal trek ranks as one of the most visited treks of India & is quite famous because of snow-covered alleys. For an enthusiastic trekker, nothing can serve better than Brahmatal trek this winter. Amidst the snow, high altitude alpine lake is tucked in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. But despite this scenic landscape this trek is comparatively moderate & an easy go.
What makes Brahmatal different from other treks is that on this trek, a traveller has high chances of seeing huge peaks from extremely close quarters. The best thing about this trek is you get the chance to camp by the side of two distinct lakes-Bekal Tal and Brahmatal.
The Brahmatal trail has deep and shadowy forests of oaks and rhododendrons to snow-covered meadows, lakeside camping at Bekaltal, the alpine Brahmatal lake proximity, and a snow-covered vision! The trek surmounts a closer look to peaks like Mt. Nanda Ghunti and Mt. Trishul.
If you’re aiming to see the best of Brahmatal Trek, then winter season is your go-call! However, the trek is of fairly moderate grade, but due to snow, it becomes difficult at times.
Despite it, it is worth doing. Snow-capped mountain view is breathtaking. Chilling winds give you the shiver that goes down the spine and is something which you can only experience here – thanks to the unpredictable behaviour of the mother nature.
Experiences you will take from here is eternal, tell’ ya!

This drive for some might feel the longest, but it’s worth!
Picturesque mountain view, Garhwal mountains and the chanting rivers accompany us up to the mountain, and it’s rewarding enough, ain’t it?

Camps for an overnight stay will be set up by Devadards Voyagers. Now is the time to intake all that you have seen the entire day in your body, mind & soul, to rest a bit, to sit by the side of Brahmatal lake a bit, to rest and relax your muscle for the upcoming day.

The entire route of the fourth day as mentioned above has a moderate ascent to the ridge followed by a flat walk and then a steep descent passing by the Rhododendron and oak forest.
On this day of trekking, 4 to 6 hours is occupied in trekking solely to cover the 6km route. Once we attain the top-notch height of this day, nature is readily looking at us with open arms. From this point, we can capture the entire Himalayan range and keep it in a nutshell of our brain like a photographic memory imprinted forever. Peaks of a single spot like Haukhambha, Mandi, Mana, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Maitoli can be adored from this point. From here onwards, you can have your own time and capture the moments and keep’em alive in your photographic slate.

Overnight stay will be in camps.
On the fifth day, Devadar Voyagers begin the descent to Wan right after a delicious breakfast. The trail goes through thick oak and rhododendron forests once again. The downside trek is going to be gradual and steep with mixed descent trails. From this point of downside arrow, you can easily catch amazing views of Himalayan range on your right. Later on the same trail, the compact rural household will steal the glare, making it a moment of lifetime joy.
This will be the perfect day for loose walks or photography fellas!
